• I recently heard that the Our Sunday Visitor publication is going away — is that right?
No. The publication Our Sunday Visitor is not going away. It is changing to a monthly magazine format. The last issue of the newspaper will be dated September 29, 2024, and the premiere edition of the new Our Sunday Visitor monthly magazine format will be the October 2024 issue.
• Will there be anything else different about the Our Sunday Visitor publication besides the new monthly format?
The monthly magazine will be longer than the newspaper issues and will include many of the same topics and most popular editorial areas of interest but in a beautiful, premium, visually engaging format. News content will continue to be available to all readers for free on OurSundayVisitor.com and in our daily digital newsletter.
• I like Our Sunday Visitor news coverage. How can I keep getting that, too?
You can continue to receive breaking and daily Catholic news coverage for free by signing up for the OSV News service and the OurSundayVisitor.com newsletters.
• I received communication about my Our Sunday Visitor subscription changing, but my account still says that I have my newspaper subscription.
Newspaper subscribers will continue to receive Our Sunday Visitor in newspaper format until the last newspaper issue, which will be the September 29, 2024, edition. Your subscription will automatically transition to a magazine subscription beginning in October 2024.
• If I am a current newspaper subscriber, do I need to resubscribe to receive Our Sunday Visitor in the new magazine format?
No. Your subscription will automatically transition to the magazine in October 2024. The month your current newspaper format subscription expires will be the same month your magazine subscription expires.
• What if my current newspaper subscription expires before the first issue of the new magazine format is mailed?
Respond to your subscription renewal notice you receive in the mail or visit the Subscription Renewal page online to renew your subscription and make sure you receive the premiere issue of the new Our Sunday Visitor magazine!
• What will an Our Sunday Visitor magazine subscription include?
Beginning in October 2024, your subscription will include 12 magazine issues annually and continue at your same yearly renewal rate. Your subscription to the newspaper will continue through the end of September.
• When will I begin to receive the new Our Sunday Visitor magazine?
If you are a current Our Sunday Visitor newspaper subscriber, you will receive the last issue of the newspaper, the September 29 edition, and the first issue of the magazine, October 2024, together in one mailing.
New subscribers of the magazine will receive their first issue at the end of September 2024.
• Will there be any newspapers printed after September 2024?
No. The last newspaper printed will be the September 29, 2024 issue.

• What if I already have canceled my Our Sunday Visitor auto-renewal?
Your current subscription will end on the last day of your current order. We will not auto-renew your subscription.
